The facade lighting was supposed to make the apartment complex livelier and let it engage with its surroundings.
We offered three lighting scenarios, each unfolding the identity of the building through a natural metaphor: flow, wind, and crystal. In each one, light acts as a bridge between architecture and the environment.
The concept revolved around wind. With the help of inbuilt sensors, the facade responds to the wind’s strength and direction: a gentle breeze creates soft light gradients, while gusts of wind trigger flashes and accents. The building becomes a living organism reflecting nature’s current state.
