Alexander Ponomarev. Without Shores

‘Without Shores’, a solo exhibition by Alexander Ponomarev, explores the theme of boundlessness, integral to Ponomarev’s work, and does so starting from its title to how it was implemented.  

Through lighting we wanted to amplify the sense of vastness. Ponomarev took inspiration in the never-ending ocean waves, ancient glaciers and the mystery of the deep sea.

We managed to connect the dark exhibition space with the installations, filling the space with light. 

Stationery works were surrounded by static lighting, while movement of the dynamic pieces was augmented by expressive lighting matching their rhythm.
