The 5th Triennial of Textile Art is a large-scale project dedicated to analyzing and reinterpreting contemporary forms of textile art. Participating artists include those working in traditional hand-weaving techniques, as well as creators whose works — though also woven by hand — incorporate unconventional materials that stretch the very definition of weaving. The pieces on display showcase a remarkable diversity of textures: from dense, almost sculptural interlacings to translucent, airy fabrics. This richness allows for a playful engagement with spatial perception, dynamic shadow play, and a heightened emphasis on material qualities.

Lighting solutions were tailored individually for each artwork to highlight its unique characteristics. For denser textiles, the lighting emphasized the relief of the weave. Narrow, angled beams were used to reveal the delicacy of lace-like panels and sculptural forms, enhancing the impression of motion. Broader optics were applied to large-format works, allowing viewers to appreciate their intricate details fully.
